Today's photo shoot was to help out a friend. Not too sure what the actual assignment was but i had to turn into a man. I was the model... crazy i know! Take a look at the final product :)

Covering up tattoos.
This was one of my fave lessons. I love how i could just make it disappear.

The main thing you need to know about covering up whether it be tattoos or blemishes, is the colour wheel. The colour wheel shows you what colour counteracts. On the wheel you have your oranges and browns. On the other side of the wheel tight opposite is your blues and purples. The colour wheel shows you that when you are covering up under the eyes you use an orange concealer to counteract the blue/purple. That was the trick with tattoos. This is a before and after shot of a tattoo I covered up.

This was the last day of school. 2011 was a year of make up! was so so fun. i learnt make up from the Egyptian eras all the way through the Edwardian era to the 70's and that's not including all the prosthetics we did and special FX make up we learnt. in the next few weeks i will upload as many pictures and stories and tips as i can. will be fun being back online!
